Mike was chatting today about wanting an iPhone, but without the ‘phone’ (just the ‘i’?). What he meant was he’d like all the features of the iPhone without being tied into a new phone contract, which makes sense, cos it’s an awesome thing, kind of a new generation iPod really, more than a phone. Guy Kawasaki clearly agrees.
Personally, I’m up for the whole shebang! as I’m not going to want to carry around a whole bunch of technology if I don’t need to. Thats why I always take my Shuffle out and never my iPod, cos it’s tiny and virtually indestructable, so you don’t even notice you’ve got it really. You don’t wanna have to worry about your iPhone/iPod whatever getting all scratched up by your keys as well as your phone.
I guess we’ll see what happens when people get hold of them on Friday…?
