Nucleo Pro is an awesome bit of software that helps speed up your After Effects workflow by helping After Effects make full use of multi-processor machines. Tho the new AFX CS3 can do this natively, it’s a massive timesaver in earlier versions, and it’s got a bunch of extra tricks up it’s sleeves to make it worth buying whatever version you’re using.

I’d been meaning to get it for ages before I eventually got round to trying the demo, but as soon as I tried it I had to buy it! It makes such a difference I couldn’t stand going back to actually having to wait for stuff to render to see what it looks like! What’s Nucleo Pro 2?

Nucleo Pro 2 is the soon-to-be-released version of Nucleo Pro that gives you support for After Effects CS3 (in addition to AE7), and also includes new features like the ability to drag and drop 3D projects into the Nucleo Pro Background Render Queue for rendering, and the ability to cache your pre-comps (think of this feature as a Spec-Commit To Disk).
