Paul and Si took time out from their busy schedules to sort out the London Olympics logo debacle:

Seeing as how there’s quite a lot of controversy over the new London 2012 logo idea and given that it’s sending people into fits of sheer epilepsy, we thought we should have a bash ourselves. Thankfully, nothing has driven this company more than SPORTS for years now, so we’re all well versed and should be able to easily provide Seb Coe with the answer to his woes. I think we should all have a go and post the results up here. Here’s a little attempt that took a good few hours from me and Si.

I have to say tho, the Wolf Olins version is growing on me, despite my initial revulsion. I think the thing that mainly lets it down is the word ‘london’. If that looked less stupid the whole thing would be taken up a few notches. Fair play tho, I’m sure they know what they’re doing. ;)
